IMG_0958Rev Simon Clarke – Superintendent Minister, Husband, father to three sons, pianist, guitarist and ever hopeful Everton fan!

Rev Sandy Osgerby – I moved to Newquay with my husband Ralph in 2013 – it’s a great part of the country to be in and our family of three children and four grandchildren find it a wonderful place to holiday! We love hill walking but as good sized hills are a bit rare round here we are walking the SW coastal path instead. As the manse garden was in need of a lot of TLC it’s fortunate that I’m a keen gardener and enjoy a challenge!

IMG_0966Anne Redfern – Circuit Steward.  Born a Methodist, I am also a Methodist by conviction. I started my ‘office’ holding when twelve by becoming a Sunday School teacher and accompanist, and became more involved in my village chapel, where I was the fifth generation of my family to hold office. In my very early twenties I was appointed the Society (now called ‘Church’) Steward. Thus began my association with Circuit Meetings and over the years, since about 1964 have attended quite a number in different circuits, all the while trying to keep up to date with the ongoing changes in CPD.  As I had become active over the years in Churches Together situations, when I was called to preach in 1985 I needed to consider deeply whether it was to be within the Methodist Church or some more inter-denominational way. Methodism definitely won, although I still believe in supporting Churches Together, Women’s World Day of Prayer, etc.  I realise that I am one of this world’s oddities as I really enjoy Synods and Circuit meetings. If you aren’t there how do you really get to know what is going on?

Liz Holloran – Children’s and Family Worker.  After living in beautiful Cornwall for almost  thirteen years my hubby and I thought it still isn’t too late to learn Cornish but as you can guess we are limited with what we have learnt so far!  We live in Kirrin Cottage (as this is where all good adventures begin, right!? as in Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five) with our laugh a minute son, Joe, Princess Pebbles the pooch, Ted the tyrannical cat and Bish a Chinese fire belly newt.   We also have our beautiful daughter Kayleigh and granddaughter Freya Rose who have recently moved to live close by.   I am so blessed to have just started in post serving on the Circuit as a Children’s and Family Worker and already I feel truly inspired by those I am being called to journey along with.

Gareth Jones – Pastoral Worker.  A former English teacher, Gareth has been in ministry since 2004 after completing his theological degree at Moorlands College.   He and his wife Linda moved down to Cornwall in 2012 having discerned God’s call to move and serve Him here.   Gareth currently works part-time (12 hours a week) as a Community Pastoral worker in Crantock, Cubert and St Newlyn East and is involved in setting up new forms of outreach, as well as pastoral visiting, preaching and getting involved in the local community, e.g running a monthly whist drive in Crantock. A keen sportsman he is a member of Perranporth Golf Club and has appeared on stage in two summer productions for Perranporth Players.
